1954–1970
Historically inspired colors from the golden era of electric guitars. Each finish is applied using traditional nitrocellulose lacquer—the same material used on original instruments from this period.
All finishes are applied using traditional nitrocellulose lacquer—the same material used on vintage instruments from 1954–1970. Unlike modern polyurethane finishes, nitrocellulose is a living finish that breathes with the wood.
Over time, nitrocellulose naturally ages, fades, and develops a warm amber patina. Colors will shift subtly with exposure to light and air. Sunbursts deepen. Whites cream. Blues soften. This is not a defect—it's the authentic character of vintage-correct finishing.
Every guitar becomes unique as it ages, developing its own story through natural finish evolution.
